Still keeping up with doing the thousand steps every Sunday. Best workout of the week hands down. I’m up to running 25minutes without stopping now, with a bit of walking on either side. Pretty proud of myself. My pushups: 20, 18, 16. My sit ups: 100 army styles, 50 for lower abs and 60 for obliques. I try to run at least 3 times a week. I try to do body pump at least once a week.

I have my army BFA coming up this week: 2.4km in under 13.5 minutes (i did it in 12 minutes 50 yesterday so feeling pretty good) plus over 20 push ups and 100 sit ups. Pretty sure I will pass.

I’m not being very good at sticking to the 5000kj a day thing, which is why i’m maintaining my weight rather than losing. Need to eat less! I still feel that I’m looking toned though :)

Wednesday 25th Cont’:

Exercise: a run after lunch, 30minutes (with 20 minutes of actual running), sit ups same as the day before, and the usual muscle contraction excercises before and after food.

Food: Again I ate around 5000kj, i didn’t eat any snacks throughout the day so I could have a bigger dinner.

Thursday 26th Jan:

Weight in the morning before breakfast: 51.5kg. Still losing :) No exercise today other than the muscle contractions before and after food, and some push ups and sit ups. My push up sets are still 19, 17 and 15. I only ate 1550kj during the day and had a pizza for dinner, this was a bad idea in hindsight as i put on weight when i weight myself the next morning. I think it is better to eat smaller regularly than a lot just one time, because even though i still only had about 6000kj during the day, i put on weight.

Friday 27th Jan:

This morning my weight: 52.1kg. Disappointing, definitely won’t eat the way I did yesterday. However, My measurements last week were: Around the navel: 87cm, hips: 91.5cm, right thigh:54.5, left thigh:54.5, left bicep: 28cm, right bicep: 26cm. Today I took my measurements because i might have gain a little weight due to more muscle rather than more fat. Today my measurements are: navel: 85cm, hips: 90.5cm, right thigh: 51.5cm, left thigh: 51.5cm, left bicep:26.5cm, right bicep: 27cm. So in total, i lost 9.5cm which I am happy with. I think I have lost more around my thighs than anywhere else because I mostly run for exercise as well as doing the ‘thousand steps’ once a week. Today so far for exercise I have done Body Pump. I don’t mind about the increase in diameter at my biceps because i like my arms, and i don’t mind if they get toned, i have to be good at push ups and chin ups anyway because I’m in the army reserves.

Exercise Blog

For now i’m turning my wedding blog into a bit of a weight loss blog. My wedding diet has started, looking amazing in my dress is my inspiration. My weight at the start was 62kg, my goal weight is between 54 and 50kg depending on how I feel when i get there.

Monday 23rd Jan: I went for a run after breakfast for about 25 minutes (only 15.5minutes of actual running). I did chin ups (assisted) and did push ups (set one:19, set two:17, set three:15) and sit ups (set one:50 set two:50 and then a few different kinds to target lower abs and obliques). I ate around 5000kj, and drank lots of water. Before each meal is when I did the muscle exercises and also 1 hour after. I read in a book called ‘The 4 hour Body’ by Tim Ferris that this affects the way your body uses the energy, and aids in weight loss.

Tuesday 24th Jan: No run today. Sit ups sames as yesterday. Again before i eat i do muscle contraction exercises straight before and an hour after eating (this includes sit ups, quick squats, and tricep pushes against a wall, altogether only taking about 2-3minutes). I’ve started taking a supplement suggested in the above mention book before each meal. It’s call AGG and PAGG, it contains things like green tea extract and garlic which again affects your body’s use of the food it’s taking in, aiding in weight loss. I ate a bad dinner (fish and chips) because I was out for a birthday, and i drank about 6 glasses of alcohol. I only ate about 3000kj before this so I decided my daily intake was between 8500 and 9000kj. I did a LOT of dancing. Weight: 62kg

Wednesday 25th Jan: Weighed myself this morning at the same time as yesterday, before breakfast and in underwear. Weight: 61.7! I have lost .3kg so far, even though i ate a bad dinner and drank the night before. I think it’s because of the supplements. So far so good :)
